Meet Monet’s Garden
This beautiful green chair is a striking accent piece in my living room. A gift from my cousin who offered it to me before shipping it off to a Habitat ReStore, it was originally covered in a gold fabric that had seen better days. I peeled off each layer to reveal only the frame and springs and then painted the wood and built the chair back up with all new materials (webbing, burlap, foam, and Dacron, fabric) to make a brand new one of a kind “bespoke” chair. The blue, green, and yellow floral pattern blends together like a watercolour painting. The custom double piping trim in the same fabric gives a beautiful finish.
