This lovely chair serves as a piano stool because why would I have an unattractive black stool to sit on when I can have a beautiful and comfortable one of a kind chair to beckon me to sit and play? I couldn’t decide whether to leave the wood as is or paint it black and I’m so happy I chose the latter. The black makes a bold statement with the fabric. And speaking about the fabric, notice the placement of the birds and flowers. For me, fabric placement is as much or even more fun than actually doing the work on the chair. I love how the birds peek out and interact with each other. As with all my chairs, everything is stripped to the wood and built back up with all new materials.
